Protean planks are no longer useful. Being able to use them for grapevines was a very useful space saver. I have 200 mil construction (and everything else at writing time) and now these planks are useless.

More like they're back in line with the other protean items.

Planks were the standout item of all things protean; it was the only item you could make money off of (Construction and, indirectly, Grapevine frames)...

im glad for this changed

for one i hate proteans anyway they ruined skilling entirely. they should all be useless after 200m. so youve proven why this change needed to happen.


even though i turn them into oddments when they appear in th i still have huge collection

this would be so much xp if i used them. with out even trying to obtain them, purposely getting rid. i somehow have heaps of stored xp in them.

they need to be nerfed more!

(if you havent guessed i dislike mtx items)

I have no idea what you are talking about. Every other protean in the game only has the one purpose: to give XP, which means that they are useless when you hit 200M, because then you don't need XP anymore. Why should planks be any different? Of course they shouldn't.

It is simply a streamlining of the game's mechanics.

I don't see what this has got to do with me.

I can however see why people don't want to have this changed for egotistical reasons, because they believe the game revolves around them. They can't see what is best for the game, only what is best for them.

No they should not. They are now in line with all other types of proteans. It was a mistake that they ever gave anything besides XP.
