I've played runescape from the beginning there was no members area, their was no memberships nothing. Over the years i've watched the membership price climb & climb. Now its happening again? I have a bad feeling that this is gunna kill RS further. I get it they need money, but i think there is better ways to make money rather than increasing the cost of membership to that of WOW which at that point you might as well play WOW right. Its a bigger better game, Runescape is one of my loves since child hood, but if it comes to paying the price that a much bigger game with a bigger player base, I don't think it'll be a contest. Just ranting a bit since i just noticed it, Just be careful with the price changes, i would probably cry if i saw the game died because CEO'S & Presidents who have only knowledge in manipulating commodity's (which doesn't always translate in gaming.) got a bit too greedy & killed the game. Not to mention the jobs that would be lost.. Yikes
Especially given the global inflation & depression thats currently happening & still playing out. Plus the whole fresh worlds thing gunna kill prices & other things once it goes into game. Enough ranting just hoping someone will think about it b4 it gets to that. After all i'm 34 & have been playing since i was like 11-12 & still play so i would hate to see it go.
