I recently came back to the game and created an ironman and I wanted to use the official client because I don't like Runelite and I enjoy both the true fullscreen feature and the interface scaling of the official client. However there are some serious issues for a client that was made by a very large company such as Jagex. When I received my ironman armor, it was invisible until I logged out and logged back in. I found out that the game will crash if you teleport away unless you turn off your sound, and the worst one, I have to manually go into appdata and delete the Old School Runescape folder every time I want to reload the client or it wont launch, and if I simply click on the Jagex launcher icon, often both the client and the launcher crashes (which it just did as I'm saying this). With how many issues there are I'm wondering if it's even safe to use combat-wise later in the game. This client could be a serious liability for players in the game if it's this buggy. With that said, love the proper interface scaling and fullscreen features that Runelite doesn't have.
