Hello Everyone
This is more of a message to thou people who think Jagex is just another MTX company or not taking problems seriously. Keep in mind, that RuneScape is a game for your entertainment and enjoyment.
The countless people I met saying "I don't enjoy the game because of MTX" or "I'm not getting lucky enough on drops so I'm quitting" and of course "I blame Jagex because I've been hacked and they've done nothing to compensate me".
• Understand, majority of games you play are more heavy on MTX than Jagex.
Jagex is an MMORPG and one of the rare ones where you can actually earn everything without the need for you to ever utilize the MTX features
. If they truly wanted to drain you, they could of made it so you couldn't buy bonds with gold pieces, you had to pay just to broadcast a message, and the true horror which is paying just to make a clan. They don't, and they listen to nearly all feedback from patient players.
• Jagex is realistic in the MMORPG genre, this means your drops are
RNG
. This will always rely on your luck, that doesn't mean you'll get what you want. If you had a 6 sided dice, and you wanted to hit the number 1, you won't hit it if you roll it 6 times, you have a 1/6 chance of hitting the 1 on the dice. Try to change your way of thinking, enjoy the content of grinding, otherwise MMORPG may not be for you.
• Being hacked is a very, very unfortunate event to happen. I personally have never been hacked so I wouldn't understand the minds of others who have. However If you slowly but surely take the steps of account security very seriously, you are very unlikely to be hacked. Please take the time to read the Account Security Section:
