All the mobile clients have to do is simply save settings. Persist them through sessions. Keep the settings I set so I don't have to re-set them upon logging back in a second later. Take the settings I manually set... and lock them in-place so I don't have to configure the same settings again on next-start. This is not some unheard of concept, or at least I didn't think it was.

Yet OSRS mobile will reset pinch-to-zoom after something as-simple as a log out and back in without even switching apps (429-430-417-66283409), and RS3 mobile resets all graphics settings and framerate back to 35 even after I set it to 60 and change other settings (450-451-399-66283668).

Are you for real? What is so difficult with saving settings? I want to just start up either RS mobile and play! Not shuffle through settings each time. And assuming I'm not running into some one-time bug, what is with the players dealing with this? Or do ya'll not change settings?

I'm salty because I downloaded RS3's large cache just to find out I can't reasonably play it.

You can set 60 FPS on RS3 mobile, close the game, re-open it, and still have 60 FPS? Or does your device default to 60 FPS? I know the pinch-to-zoom option for OSRS has been like that since launch on iOS and Android for everyone.

Not sure what's up with screen recording keeping RS portrait in the video (it was landscape and fullscreen to me), but the FPS text might be more clear with the video res 720p or 1080p. I can set 60 FPS from the log-in screen, lobby, or in-game, close the app, relaunch it, and it'll be back at 35 FPS.

I play on mobile when I am away,. Tried on 2 different phones, including one with the best technical specs you can buy, on both I get slowdonw after like 10 minutes of play. Appears to be linked to how much you walk around (i.e. loading new map) and feels like a memory leak. Anyone else get the same?

Hey, can you confirm the conditions this doesn't happen? I'd like to know if it's device-specific and it's been some days.

1. Does your device default to 60 FPS with auto-config? Mine defaulted to 35 FPS.
2. If you change the FPS limit to anything other than default, close the RS app, and re-open it, does it retain the specified limit?
3. What device do you have?
4. What version is the RS app you have installed? It's likely either RuneScape_931_1_2_8 (93101028) or RuneScape_931_1_2_4 (93101024) but I'd like the full version number to check the arch.

mobile rs3 is hot dogshit cause it forces NIS on you. (unless its changed i havent used in years for that reason.) Its almost impossible for me to do my daily ports. OSRS mobile is fine.
OSRS - Filled with harassers sad...~
- Give me Private Hiscores this should not be public information! - ! REMOVE OSRS TAX !
