I'm VERY dissapointed to log in to see that Halloween 2023 OSRS event is a replay of last years.
I have been playing since slmost 20 years and seasonal events are always a very nice and welcome distraction.

Not only that, but Jagex is saying Christmas 2023 and next years anniversary event will be either replays or non existent? That is cheap excuse for new content? I rather have new innocent seasonal events and delay the gamebreaking updates.

We need to show our anger at this lazy decision, otherwise Jagex will continue to break seasonals. They already ruined Halloween 2023, don't let them ruin Christmas 2023 with a replay nor the OSRS anniversary.

I am an old player and tend to comeback for the holiday events but I have started to think the month membership is not worth it as no effort is put into holiday events like it used to be.

It is a shame as these events made Runescape special and have no idea why the Devs no longer feel holiday events to be important.

Anybody else seeing a pattern here?

1. Jagex releases shoddy MTX-laden half-assed content.
2. RS community reacts with strong negativity.
3. Jagex apologizes, says they hear the players, and pledges to do better in the future.
4. Return to Step 1 and repeat.

How many of you would still have your job if you were this bad at it? I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^

They only hear the '$' but that's fine by me, just hope MTX of this 'style' isn't what's holding this company afloat....it may not last forever and crush jagex into the ground should it be 'disallowed'. oh well i'll laugh.

Agreed. One thing that I know and love Old School RuneScape for is how their holiday events are basically a simply quest that you do, have a good time with, and then get your rewards. Not these types events where people have to grind something in order to get their rewards, with no storytelling or stuff like that whatsoever.

I have enough of that in RuneScape 3.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
