I will never ever participate in another of jagex's wilderness minigames/events. I lost full bane +5 that king Andrew made me, grasping rune pouch w 11k + earth, water, fire and air that I had stocked after I was given it as a gift by my friend and previous clanmate, my gift from nova which was my ring of fortune, my rune pouches, my silver hawk boots with over 600 charges. jagex has created the perfect opportunity for pkers to still kill us. Then entices us with a barrage of come on. jagex mods did this on purpose. its a brilliant con. but I, I was the one stupid enough to let them. somebody either got incredibly rich or jagex just decided to punish me for returning to play their very addictive game. I will be spending some time with my books this week because I am pretty disgusted with jagex and myself.

This is why you never bring anything with you into the wild you arent ready to lose.

I mean the wild is pvp for a reason + you always had the option of opting-out of pvp.

Thus jagex like most other times, did nothing wrong as they gave you everything to avoid this but you chose to ignore them.

Unfortunately every time any content in wildy is added which is both enticing in its rewards and a comp requirement that brings a large amount of people for it, there are those bad apple pkers who will drop cursed energy on the ground in hopes that players with multiple loot mode selected will pick it up and get skulled against their will.

there are warnings before entering wilderness, you know the risks.

make sure you opt out of pvp before entering.


whjy disgusted at jagex? they have made wilderness more enjoyable. with an interesting rewarding update

Not to sound rude or anything, but it's not really Jagex's fault, is it?

You do not need to engage in PVP to participate in any of the events. They have taken advantage of the new opt-in mechanic in order to provide some new content in the wilderness. You should have taken the time to research that before going in, either by asking the community or reading the associated posts and wiki pages. If you were still unsure at that point, you should have only taken basic gear.

I feel your pain. You will always get ppl saying "dont bring anything in to wildy that you dont want to lose". the fact is why shouldn't you, after all if you pay a membership , you want to play the game your way, unfortunately you are always going to get sad little boys that don't care and go out of their way to kill you in the wildy.
