Everywhere you read (not posting web sites), Hermodic Plate drops are 1/10 and 1/9 if tier 3 luck or higher. BS

More like 1 in 50

Last 5 instances (full time frame) gotten one plate. Please fix if the posted odds are correct.

When are people going to understand that the way that drops work are static. So a 1/10 drop chance is always going to be a 1/10 drop chance it doesn't change the more you kill the same creature.

so 1/10 can be written in decimal form as .1 and as a percentile as 10%. So you have the same 10% chance each and every kill. It doesn't grow to 20%, 30%, 40% and so on til you get the item then reset back to 10%. That would be nice if all things had threshold mitigation. However that's not the case with normal drops, pets on the other hand do indeed have that.

its what rng is.

you can go dry.

it sucks but there is nothing to fix

Maybe the numbers are not correct. How do we know that 1/10 is actually what they have programmed into the software? It could be that he is unlucky, but it could also be that the chance is actually not 10%.

10% is what they said in the newspost. The wiki cites this source. https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/necromancy-combat-changes--beta-update

If you want to collect your own drop rate data, I had a drop rate of 1/8.34 - 29 plates in 242 kills.

trans, clueless. We understand

How do i know numbers are correct. I track because i cant stand necro and i am trying to finish all stats and runescore points as fast as i can.

In addition, easy to take kill count divided by number of plates ... not 1 in 10. Not even close.

By your logic, because my killcount is 439 and I've got 55 plates, the drop rate CANNOT be lower than 1/8.

There is no reason to assume that Jagex is lying about the drop rate. You are simply very unlucky.
