Mmmhmm, agreed. There are plenty of other similar things that need a toggle off option, like entering the Wild from Damonheim or entering guilds.
Tangentially related is when getting a Slayer task from a lower level Master (for whatever reason you may want to do that), and they constantly suggest to see a higher level master. No, if I wanted that, I'd be talking to them. I'm talking to you though, so just give me the damn lower level assignment.

Agreed with Daemonheim!

Bit mixed about slay master. A player could be drunk tired and not realize the master is ranked that much lower and break a streak, lol

honestly i think its quite accurate how many villagers will feel. to them we will always be an outlander, but we have just been accepted in by their leader and they cant do anything about that. but they can make their opinion known with a snide remark, but still allow us in.

Oh it's definitely valid, I'd just rather see the comment as overhead text vs a dialogue window lol.
