I quit, thats it.
Ive been playing OSRS for years now off and on and I just finally hit a wall where I cant do anything. I got one shot by a boss twice in a row and each time the game said "oops now pay 100k to get your items back."
This is way too punishing for a casual player. Why even have items be lost at all? To pad out membership time. Everything is centered around making things take as long as possible. Its not fun, its way too hard. There isnt even a difficulty option to help you when things get too tough.
The skill ceiling is so high you have to be click perfect to beat any boss, the drop rates are horrible, its a grind, its not fun. Bosses that one shot you are bad game design and I'm tired of pretending like its not a bad game anymore.
Its clearly aimed at hardcore players as their main userbase so casual players like me will eventually get stuck and have to give up. Im so totally done with it.
