OSRS "Maze Key" Not Working

I have the "Maze Key" to enter the first door (for the first door mentioned on the osrs quick guide on the osrs wiki) and this key is doing nothing. It says "Nothing interesting happens". I can literally do nothing at this point.

I just found out i needed to kill a rat for a separate key, a "Red Key", it has nothing to do with the maze key given by the champion's guildmaster... i will find out what this maze key is for pretty soon. So, there was no bug.

the maze key is to go into the first door. (the building)
