Sadly, I think you're right. I miss the times when players paralyzed W1 and W2 to make themselves heard.
To spend resources on something your customers haven't asked for is poor management, but to double down and force a waste of resources upon your customers just because you know they're addicted to your product is sheer sadism

Well it looks like a new update was posted and they're going to be doing some major rework

I know Jagex sometimes listen players here in the forums. Still, not that much nowadays. Also, I'm not going to generalize things or lesser Jagex effort. One player suggested removing the Wilderness tele restriction, many of us stated support and it actually got fixed for non-pvp. It was an excellent update, showing that small changes can do wonders.
In my opinion, the overall purpose of HP isn't that bad but it needs fixes, including the prizes. For the chaotic love of Zamorak... 80% of cosmetics are awful, generic, boring and totally not female-friendly. Maybe some people like to look as a humongous necronium fridge armed with the Skeletor's 80's weaponry, but that's not for me.
Hope it changes for good.

Talking of chaotic and surprising stuff... Jagex actually listened and are going to fix HP and bring Challenges back! The amount of feedback worked its magic
