This scam is on-going.

I will try to post updates here on the scammer; updates from others are welcomed! The more info, the easier it is to stop the scammers.

I reported so many accounts and used the "report bug" feature to give details of how the scammers were working.

A few months ago the Mods did start appearing in front of the ge to try and catch him. However, i don't think they - and nor do i - have figured out the times the scammer logs in, which specific worlds he hops to, and for how long he stays, because any time we're waiting for him he is a no-show.

Does anyone know more about if he's showing any consistent patterns?

@RinAkurei,

I know you posted this with good intentions, but by explaining a scam you may be tempting others to try it.

Just report in game as you have been doing and leave it to Jagex, posting about it here doesn't really help.
