It definitely has fluctuated over the years, but I couldn't even guess as to how many active forumers there are.

I was estimating anywhere from 300-400 unique accounts posting in a given week. A lot of forumers simply post on a single thread of interest and move on with their gaming.

That's my thinking. Outside of forumers that post regularly, there still seems to be a lot of players that make a few posts here and there on occasion. On any given day, there seems to be a quite a few of them.
To be more straight-forward, I'd love to see raw data on posters and posts over given periods of time. If I'm not mistaken, there used to be a few forumers that would collect and post this kind of data regularly (I think it simply focused on # of posts across forums, though). There also used to be a JMod that would collect and share data on miscellaneous RuneScape game and website facts. I would be very interested to see this data if it exists.
