Premier membership now has an auto-subscription renewal.
I have never had to cancel my Premier membership before and it's a hassle that shouldnt be necessary.
Please give an option to set up recurring subscriptions or not when purchasing membership packages.

This change just gives me the feeling that the company I'm paying really hopes I forget about the subscription so they can take more of my money. Along with the fact that you have to log into a different site to access your account management after purchasing the package, it all just comes together feeling a little slimey.

Premier Membership is a NEW product. It went on sale at the start of May this year.

What you never had to cancel previously was Gold Premier Club.
Gold Premier Club was a one off purchase each year however Premier Club has now been pensioned off.

Moving from Gold Premier Club to Premier Membership might feel like they are the same product. The most obvious difference is the auto-renew, recurring subscription plan.
However there is a subtle difference noticeable only by players on grandfathered pricing.

Premier Membership replaces two membership products: Gold Premier Club and 12 month regular membership.
