i've checked and confirmed that my password is correct, and when used with my username (not my display name) it works. but if I try to use it with my email, I get told that its wrong.

out of my 3 methods of logging in, only one is broken. Arguing with me is pointless.

Heavyoak, it appears that you created your account before 2010. Any account created after November 2010 logs in via email. So, to access the game, use your username - first display name.
