I accidently did something that might be bug or might be acceptable but little known strategy. I have only done it as an accident, but if it the later, it could be a nice little boost to rewards. I do not want to go into detail here because i do not want to tell others if it is the former. How do I find out if it is a bug or an unknown but acceptable strategy?

I think giving a hint here is okay, a lot of times we see people mistaking less known features as bugs :) Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

As I personally am not familiar with this minigame, I have no idea whether or not what you are describing is a bug or not. After reading the Wiki article about it, I suspect that it is not a bug, but I have hidden your post just in case.

Take a look at the strategy section of the Wiki page
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Tithe_Farm#Strategy
and see if what you were doing is similar to any of the listed strategies. If so, then you are good to go.

If not, then please submit a Bug Report or ask in the Old School RuneScape General Forum . (This Forum is for feedback and suggestions regarding the forums and the RS website itself, rather than in-game content for either version of the game.)
