Genuinely don't understand why the RS3 sections that take up pretty much 80% of the forums navigation page are not indicated at all that they are about RS3.

As someone who only plays RS3, it's easy. I just click on the most obvious option and it's always correct. If somehow I got confused and was at the bottom of the navigation page, I'm explicitly told that I'm in the old school section so I don't get confused.

But OSRS players are constantly ending up in the RS3 section since it doesn't tell them they are in an RS3 section and their section is so small they just miss it I guess.

Is it really so hard just to put the words RS3 or EOC in the sections belonging to RS3?

The only section that isn't labeled is the "Community Lounge". Although some descriptions of sub-forums there do have the word RuneScape (which implies RuneScape 3), I do agree that adding "RuneScape 3 - Community Lounge" would indeed make more sense. I'm not sure how possible this would be, but I think that a short message saying, "If you wish to access OSRS sub-forums, scroll down to the correct sections." could be added at the very top as well.

iirc you're able to collapse the forum boards, no O_o ? I completely understand the frustration, though. Whenever I switch between binging OSRS or RS3 and then leading to read updates and discussions, it's can definitely present to be quite troublesome instantly required to scroll towards the bottom.

I collapse the ones that I do not use. This is a good idea!

i think its due to the fact that most people dont even use the forums and when they do they dont bother scrolling all the way down to the bottom they just see what theyre looking for and just throw what they want up and end up waiting for them to be told wrong forum just to have a forum mod move it for them or some actually will redo the forum in the right thread

it just seems no one cares to see if theres an actual forum for what their specifically after and just throw it in the first one they see fit

You can collapse them but I'm fairly certain the subforums reopen the next time you log in. It'd be nice to see them save your changes before you log out.

I've found a way around this!! Took me over a year. Lol.
Log out and collapse the subforum categories you don't want. It saves. Now log back in. :O
