Hi, why is there no automated reporting system in place to report forum mods/ users?
unnamed forum mod response:
"Closing this thread now, as this cannot be hosted in the Rants forum.
You cannot rant about getting banned due to bug abuse.
Jagex is always serious with dealing with people abusing the bugs discovered ingame."
this unnamed forum mod didn't even read the thread before locking it. not a single person in the thread was banned for the oddments exploit, nobody was saying it was a good thing and nobody was saying people should have done it. people were being critical of jagex's response, which jagex was also critical of, and their speech was shut down for it.
jagex's own stance:
"Firstly, we take responsibility for the exploit and apologise for it"
"Whilst
not being a 'bug'
in a traditional sense"
"3 Active Users Online"
