You need to get rid of the "amount traded" volume history graph that is below the price graph, until you can make it work properly.

92 Black Partyhats traded for 1.01B on Monday November 27. We all know that's not true. Sunday December 3 was the first day they were potentially available. Unless 92 hats were unfairly gifted by

to someone.

I think I heard not long after this feature was released that it's showing how many GE offers have been placed, not the trade volume.

Just get rid of it, since it makes no sense.

Is the amount traded confirmed inaccurate or just the prices that reflect it? Presumably due to being a new item and it's going to be slow to catch up . - (Owner) Ornery Onions -

Yes Vead. It was confirmed in a forum post by a Mod not long after its release, if I recall correctly. Pretty sure it wasn't a news post. The post is likely expired off of page 50 and is no longer available.
