Is this happening frequently for you, or did it start today.

There were some issues earlier today around the time the thread went up and lasted for an hour or two.

The secure.runescape.com subdomain is tied to the login servers of the game. Said login servers went down today, and the website was experiencing some 504 (gateway timeout) errors. This prevented the images from loading b/c the request to the server for the resource failed.

When the servers came back up, the secure.runescape.com pages and avatar images loaded normally again. Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
