Hey :)

I remember the hype when I first started Rs, it was in another website as top 10 games, and I switched from club penguin (lel) to Rs with my brother, those old nostalgic moments of trying t kill some people in wildy or just wait at ditch to loot those rune arrows to make some bank :p

After the wildy was removed we had to find new stuff ingame to motivate us or just me cuz my brother quitted shortly after that, think I spend like 2-3 years just logging in to Rs to play soul wars with xxdeathx fc, was pretty fun at the time 400 people at 1 lobby and 400 people at the other, became one of bronze stars in there and I was calling where shall we go and stuff till one day I was like what am I doing with my life and decided to quit rs for good. Didn't even say goodbye to the fc or ranks, didn't even discussed with anyone :p my brain doesn't even remember their names and if they still play;x
Think most of my friends quitted at the time we used to be so many greek and Cypriot players back then my fl was full by people from my country.

Came back couple years later back to Rs and got introduced to this clan by a greek friend, didn't even know what a clan was at the time, so I came back and started making new friends and that fun I had back then came back to me so I started setting goals to max, without knowing I was even doing trim reqs while trying to max :p Anyhow long story short I achieved my goals. As soon I got comped, warbands got released and we started our own fc t help the nubs that just want to get 99 easy (been running since release and I still love my fc so much).

Eventually my daily was just warbands and get things done for trim, at 2k14 I manage to get trim and think it was couple months later that I got invited to the 'special' team.

After losing my 'special team priviledges' due to being hacked and no way to appeal (i assume) or even a reply if i ever gonna get invited in future,I again have lost motivation, so many trolls in this community, I know there are some nice ppl out there but quite hard to find ;p I still enjoy my clan people even thought I am more of a lone wolf now, I kinda enjoy peace now

So now my daily things are just warbands and raids and that's about it.

I don't rly pvm besides raids and I am just 'decent' If I had to vote myself

Need some new ideas to motivate me nowadays :P

P.S if you want to troll, this isn't a thread for you, skip it <3

Don't worry Christy. <3

I know exactly how you feel - thrown to the side and ignored, especially for something that didn't deserve the actions taken, and no one will even take the chance to see your side of the story. While it's true that things can be done with or without it, it's those who have lost it who suffer the most - primarily because of all the trolls constantly harassing and flaming you because they think you've done something to deserve said action. It's happened to me for over a year now, and I still get people doing it to me now, and all because a company has 0 care for the paying customers who are just trying to make a positive difference to the community.

It's also sad that it happens to the players actually generally making a difference to the community for others who get punished, yet you have others dancing around at Prif lode using it as a fashion statement, and not doing shit to represent the team in a positive light, or people who seem to do fuck all and get handed everything to them on a plate. If players were listened to more and their sides of a story taken into consideration, it would be a whole lot better.

--------------------

As a way I've been trying to combat these trolls, is to just play with PM off/clan off and just use Discord/Skype to talk to my close friends. It's not really working that effectively though, as people still manage to get attacks through to you either in-game, on the forums, or on social media.

If you need to talk more about this, feel free to PM me <3

Yeah, we all have some really good memories of this game being most us grew up with it. When you play so many hours for so many years, you're bound to make them :P .

Personally, I have found getting involved with the F2P community really nice. Whether it's giving away things to random players whom look in need or having a conversation with someone - even if you initiate it by just starting off with a compliment. This all goes to say any group involvement is a terrible idea. One bad apple will spoil the bunch. Go one on one with everything.

Aside from that, train some skills the old fashioned ways you usually never really train. Usually the most inefficient XP is the most fun I have found - whether it's from a minigame or an activity. I mean, this game ultimately is an MMO. When you break the grind, chore habits and spend your time with someone else, you'll eventually find a friend to enhance your experience here even more to try even more new things and whatnot.

Korny, but whatever. Good luck.
