Hey guys, until recently i had norton antivirus to protect my computer but it will soon expire and ive heard that there is great antivirus software available for free, and i wanted to know, if anyone could give me a good recommendation on any of those free ones.

Any help would be appreciated.

Avira for life, always install malwarebytes too since most antivirus don't pick up malware

Kinda depends on the operating system you have, but Norton is aids. If Windows 7, get Microsoft Security Essentials and run Malwarebyes once a month. If windows 8 just throw it away cause 8 is bad. 10 just get malwarebyes, antivirus built in to OS.

Just stay far, far away from AVG.
They recently updated their terms and conditions which basically allows their anti-virus work like a spyware program.

I personally use Avira Free, Malwarebytes and the built in Windows Firewall. They work great.
