From all the bad reviews that I've seen it was mainly focused around the thought of Ben Affleck being a horrid actor choice. And I agree with them on that.
It really doesn't matter if it was a decent movie or not storyline wise, imo. Ben Affleck is just an extremely poor choice for the part. He's not good but "OK" for the batman side, but he doesn't have the characteristics of Bruce Wayne in any way, shape or form. The actor needs to be able to be both, otherwise it will never fit. Christian Bale was by far the best actor they ever had for Batman, even compared to the original movies. He was capable of playing both parts correctly, and his general physical look allowed for the smooth transition. Why they didn't have him play the part is mind blowing, regardless of how the Dark Knight series was done.

That's Henry Cavill. He's the newest Superman from Man of Steel. Probably the best Superman actor in many years.
