I love it, but I wouldn't recommend sushi if you don't like fish.
Other things to consider are:
-California rolls: imitation crab, avocado, cucumber.
-Chicken teriyaki roll: self-explanatory.
-Cucumber roll: self-explanatory.
-Japanese noodles: you have a variety to choose from.
-Tamagoyaki: egg.
-Yam rolls.
Etc...
I'll include a small list of the things I love/tried/want to try just in case.
-Uni: sea urchin.
-Unagi: eel.
-Fugu: pufferfish (I believe this is exclusive to Japan, however I'm not sure).
-Octopus.
-Live squid.
-Tobiko/Ikura: fish eggs.
-Inari: tofu skin.
-Hamachi: yellowtail.
-Standard tuna/salmon nigiri (there are different types of tuna/salmon. I'll let you do your own research).
-Red snapper.
Can also consider special rolls (might have different variations per restaurant - I'm not sure), but they are often more expensive. Think I paid $10.00~ for dragon rolls (there were only 6-8 pieces). Delicious nevertheless!
