As a Medieval lover, I can't help but notice that neither RS both in game or forums have an active discussion about this Siege Weaponry which for its time was far superior than that of a mere Catapult, Ballista or Mangonel.
A highly accurate siege weapon that was capable of counterweight launching 90 kilograms of Stone Projectile (200 pounds) over 300 Metres (over 320 yards)
It was one of the most advanced if not the best siege weaponry used in medieval warfare.

a trebuchet is something significantly differnet to a ballista so you cant compare them
a trebuchet has its advantages over its prior counterpart the mangonel
a trebuchet is similar to a catapult but in no way superior, they have different useages on the bttlefield
if i were to think any siege weapon was to be the best, itd be the siege tower, its ability to protect men from missle fire to allow close combat troops to advance as well as be used to attack walls? its an incredibly versatile device in siege warfare, after all... taking down is all good and that... but arrows will still kill you as you try and claim the land....
