As a long time player, who started in what we now call Classic, I am dismayed at the news that Classic will soon be shut down. Classic holds a special place in the hearts of many players. I still log in just to take a nostalgia trip and visit old favorite places, albeit rarely.

If Classic is shut down, I'll cancel all subscriptions across all accounts. I've been here for a decade and a half, supporting YOU, Jagex, through your highs and lows. But if you take away my Classic, you'll lose a customer. Permanently.

You're probably better posting this in the Classic forums here with all the other players who are complaining as Jagex doesn't even bother reading the HLF forums anymore lol.

Join the rest of our ranters in the forum I linked, and hopefully with more support over the next couple of months, they'll be able to revert their decision! ^_^

As another 'veteran' of 15 years I'll just add that I'm surprised Jagex even bothered to keep a copy of the old game running. I've never seen any other game company do that because it's pointless and not worth the server/bandwidth cost.
