electric cars are the future but tesla is gonna be a forgotten name once the other car brands start pumping out affordable options, sorry but im not paying $100k for a prototype model 3 thats already showing lots of issues.

If you research a bit you will discover that Tesla cars are extremely hurtful to the environment. Their batteries contain components obtained through strip mining (using third world workers). You can't properly dispose of the $20k+ batteries either.
The electric charging stations are run by diesel generators.
The world is also not equipped with a power grid string enough to support a society reliant entirely on electricity.

Electric cars are a fad and Tesla owners are victims of expert marketing. The real next big thing is hydrogen powered cars, which Elon has an interest in despite trying to discredit the significance of hydrogen cars. He will ride the success of electric cars and abandon the suckers he milked the cash from all these years.

The real environmentally friendly automotive movement everyone should support is Porsche's synthetic fuel which is made using carbons from the atmosphere. It can be used in traditional combustion engines and produces little to no polution.
