Hey so currently I use, and have been using, this HP laptop it's old atleast 5 years old. It's all stock or whatever you want to call it lol nothings been swapped or changed same as we bought it from the store. It's bad though, runs slow-ish and can't ever do pvm with more than 20fps with low graphics.

I already know people gona say build my own pc or even laptop but I'm not good with the inside and specs of computers. Yes runescape is really the only game I play on my laptop so as long as it could run rs on med/high graphics and still perform well I'm in need of suggestions cause I know many of you have good pcs and I dont. Was wondering if there's any good stock pc/laptops to run RS well? Or basically what would be good specs to look for in a new computer or laptop while browsing online to handle rs performing smooth.

Again I'm not good with specs or really anything detailed about the inside of computers but I desperately need to upgrade so help me with understanding what I should be looking for that can handle rs smoothly even on high graphics and whatnot. Thanks :)

put a .png at the end of your gyazo links lol, this is mine:

The biggest difference you can make in any computer you get for the cheapest cost (biggest bang for buck) aside from obvious things like CPU / gfx card would probably be an SSD.

even 32 gb primary SSD and secondary HDD would do wonders. Things should run smoother/faster, generally helps overall performance.

You didn't say what your budget was?

Is that Canadian or USD?

And do you want a laptop, or a desktop?

And honestly, buying something from Bestbuy or something might not be a huuuuge mistake. Blazey did recently (probably over a year ago now, but whatever) and he was really happy with his purchase, similar sort of budget if I recall too.

There are plenty of guides, and honestly, if any sort of competence about you, you can do it.

He's from US.

Also, a lot of these stores like you mentioned above (Best Buy) allow you to customize a purchase so you don't have to do the building yourself. My one piece of advice is SSD, Joe can help more with the other stuff :p

(Disclaimer: yes I watch Linus a lot):

That'll give you an idea of what you can get with your budget, apparently the rig he has is around $625 and it'd be a really nice rig for you to have with considering everything to be honest.

I would honestly suggest an SSD though (64gb+ would be sufficient, all things considered), which that prebuilt one does not have, but... You could ask Bestbuy for help on that, I guess?
