nmz is an option, you just have to click your screen every 15 minutes or so. It's not too demanding, and as long as you don't mind that I'd recommend it.

I guess you couldn't really do nmz, you mentioned it like you were considering doing guthans or something. I wouldn't try nmz in that case then. Those yaks seem popular *shrugs* maybe you should give them a try.
