Yes, unfortunately, it's just to get you off the game so they can take over your account temporarily to possibly attempt to hijack. If you think you're account is taken over and you're still in-game do your best not to log out while you attempt to reset your account security.
If you ever feel like your account may be compromised make sure you run a nice computer scan - deleting all and any viruses - and reset all of your account info afterward.
Edit: I see this was handled back in 2015 haha, didn't see the timestamps until now.

Wow.. I didn't notice it was a grave bump, that kind of invalidates my reply since it's an update that happened in the meantime.
