Hey all. Welcome to v5 of the thread :)
(V4 qfc: 261-262-181-65420049 )

The gods are all prepared for battle, so why not have a forum game based on it ;)

In this game there are 9 God Factions which are:

Armadyl

Saradomin

Seren (Run by Elves)

Godless

Bandos

Zamorak

Sliske

Zaros
(having a break after their recent victory)
Brassica Prime

Marimbo

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
In this game, each god starts off with 100 lifepoints.
You are in charge of some troops who can either Attack a God's faction, or heal a faction. There are certain moves which let you do this, you have to choose which one to do (shown on post 2).

Read post 2 and 3 before you start, but the layout you have to post after each move is:

The type of move your doing, e.g. healing Zamorak

Armadyl - 100
Saradomin - 100
Seren - 100
Godless - 100
Bandos - 100
Zamorak - 102
Sliske - 100
Zaros - 100

-Heals two gods of your choice for 1 Lifepoint each
-Attack One god's faction and deal 2 Damage
-Attack two god's factions and deal 1 damage each
-Attack one god for one lifepoint and heal another god for 1 lifepoint

Death

Once a God's faction dies, it will be removed from this thread :(

This means the supporters of that god can join another faction and try to destroy other gods of their choice.

A god is dead once it hits 0 health

Rule Breaking

Sometimes rules will be broken in the thread (Mostly by accident). It would be complex if you can report people for 'breaking the rules' outside of a reasonable timeframe, so this post tells you how to deal with it.

Doing moves in shorter than 10 minutes timespan

Sometimes people will do their move without waiting the full 10 minutes. If you see this happen on a significant scale (e.g. doing moves within 5 minutes) you can correct the move so it doesn't come into effect. The original person who done that move however doesnt have to wait 10 minutes from their last post, just 10 minutes from their last 'legit' move.
If you see this on a small scale (e.g. attacking 1 minute early) you can tell the player about the 10 minute rule if you wish. There shouldn't need to be a 'rollback' on the move, however I do ask that if you are the rule breaker that you do wait the 10 minutes + the extra 1-2 minutes that you attacked early.

It may be hard to determine which of these 2 moves is correct, but I do ask that you try to be unbias about it. For major 'rule breaking' if you do notice it (even if it helps your faction) I would correct it. Also if you wish to enforce minor rules, as a general rule of thumb only warn the player about it if you are willing to accept the rule being applied to you under the same curcumstances (Imagine the poster was you, do you think it would be fair to enforce the rule)

Incorrect Moves

If you see someone doing an incorrect move (e.g. healing more than 2, or attacking 2 gods for 2 health each) you can either warn then and leave them a few minutes to fix their mistake or you can correct it (Change it to a valid move, don't remove their action completely). If you see this happen by anyone (even if it supports your god) do take corrective action. I know that people can 'fix' the move in a way to support their god, but to avoid arguments a bias fix is allowed if they havn't fixed their mistake in a few minutes.

Rule Breaking - Application

Remember the main thing about applying this is to try and be unbias (Sure telling people to not do it doesnt stop it happening, but it helps keep the game fun and fairly competitive)

Applying the Time rule

If somebody does a move one or two minutes early, I cant ask you to report it if you see it. This is your choice whether to report it or not. However I would only warn others about it if i was happy about others warning me about it in the same situation.
For example if someone does a move 12 seconds early, don't enforce the rule if you would be annoyed about others doing the same against you.

As for doing moves significantly early, try to act in an unbias way about it. If you see somebody break the rule, think of them being in your team (even if it disadvantages you). If you would rollback it despite it helping you, then feel free to do so.
I don't want to see anybody applying their rule only to advantage them. If you are willing to apply the rule to advantage your faction, be willing to apply it to disadvantage them also

Incorrect Moves

If you see somebody doing a mistake which helps your faction (example healing your faction by 2 and attacking an enemy by 2) I would ask that you correct it to a legitimate move (if the originnal poster doesnt correct it). In this case, it may advantage your team more to make the 'health boost' legitimate and remove the attack. I'm not so worried about bias 'fixes', as long as you aren't being selective about what type of mistakes you fix

The final Battle

One there are only 2 factions remaining, both of the factions health will be reset back to 100. From there, you are only allowed to heal a faction once every 30 minutes (2 health per move). Note that this does count as a move, but you can still attack the other god 10 minutes after. You also cannot heal a god above 100 health.

When someone makes a mistake, if both groups health are 20 or higher they have 2 minutes to fix it. After that anyone else can correct that mistake (Including the person who originally made the mistake). The first person to fix it has the valid vote.
Once somebody makes a mistake after this, anyone can fix it (including the person to make it). The first person to fix it has the valid move.

Also, the rule of posting once every 10 minutes still applies in this case. However you cannot post more than twice consecutively once there are only 2 groups remaining. Once you have posted twice, you have to wait for somebody else to do a move (and that 10 minutes to finish) before you can make a move.
