Recently started playing it and im kinda hooked on it since then, it's a very nice unique card game so im wondering if anyone here gave it a shot and are still playing today.

If so, what are the things you like the most and least?

And also, what level are you and what hero do you chose to play the most?

Currently trying out Linza, it has some pretty nice combinations, installed it few hours ago and already have 3h play time, didnt expect it to be so much fun!

There are a fair amount of damage-dealing cards that ignore armor, frequently seen in play - learn which ignore armor & which don't. I think of Ring of Recoil is one of them? Only ever saw it played on phase 1.

Vanescula is able to risk getting low health from fighting very rewarding monster cards early on as her cards with the *mortal* buff allow for absurdly powerful comebacks ( big damage and big heals). Your best chance at beating her is earlier on than later, I found.

Linza decks seem to only work if you don't get unlucky with your draws. She can ramp up weapon power and then toss her weapon for a ko. I tried having a Linza deck that mixed both weapon attack buffs and weapon durability buffs equally and I think that may have actually hindered me. Try to focus more-so on one or the other than both to get a good weapon toss off.

Ozan decks are popular among the pay2win players, and always expect to see at least one skeletal champion - followed up by a snap shot.

Ariane decks are the most powerful starter decks - take your free shots at your opponent with thrower trolls and scorpions while building up your coin stack and hand's card count until you can unleash some Earth Blast cards for cheap kills. Earth Blast is the most broken card I've encountered in any card game ever.

The Kyzaj Tournament card and cards that reduce your base attack by 1 are common cards among the pay2win sect. Keep a few things in your decks that help keep your base attack up since losing just 1 base attack leaves you unable to farm monster cards without the monsters being what kills you.

I made it to Rank 1 Silver but couldn't get the 3 consecutive wins required to break into the Gold rankings. Best of luck to you if you also try a free2play approach.

Use sara brews instead of pies for heals since the brews come with card draw. I saw too many new players make the mistake of picking pies instead of brews. The rival-discards-1-card pirate is good too.

Wow that's a ton of nice info, thanks!

Currently focusing more on the Raptor, hate playing against Ariane lol, seeing she can get through my hp so easily.

I'll focus on F2P yeah, not willing to spend irl money on it, do you think the game is too much P2W or not really? But you reached Silver so I guess even being F2P can get you far ahead.

Just crafted 2 Ring Of Charos cards, what other's do you recommend me crafting to play as the raptor? (that costs 50), im guessing rock cake? Thanks again. :)

Play it every now and then. The rng is hit and miss, but dammit if I don't get the biggest grin on my face when a Linza builds a super strong weapon the same turn I play an Ice Nihil and sara brew combo. If I'm lucky, I get to bash that weapon off her later and really ruin her day. For those that haven't played yet: Ice nihil grants you armour equal to the enemy's attack+4, sara brew heals you for your current armour + 2, and bash damages the enemy and their weapon durability.

I wonder how many will come in this thread and jump on the "lel hearth stawn klone" bandwagon just because both games have cards. I'm sure they're similar in ways, but no doubt different in just as many ways.

I was honestly blown away at how fun this game is. Never a huge fan of card games and only really gave it a shot thanks to the Runescape lore in it, but I'm really happy to see the potential for a successful Jagex game release other than Runescape. Ever wonder why ice cubes taste so boring?
