Not sure if it has been done before or anyone else would think it's a cool idea, but

The idea struck me due to my curiosity of where players live that play Runescape.

Has Jagex or any other third party created some type of map that shows where the most active areas of players on Runescape are located in the world?

I had the realization the other day that living in the United States there are not as many players playing where I am located versus other countries or continents.

So I guess what I am asking if such a map were to exist.. and if not someone should make one *Jagex*

Also, I'd like to know the areas of where players are accessing from! Reply back with general location (continent, country, state/territory, etc.) Be as specific or as vague as you please.

I live in Northern California, United States =P

A while ago there was made a map here for HLF members to place themselves in the world. But it ended up getting lots of people adding fake players/locations, like penguins in antarctica, kangaroos in australia, isis terrorists in the middle east etc.

So personally I removed myself from that project and I don't foresee a new one being more successful.

Durham, North-east England is the nearest city for me.

I thought I saw a map of like what you wanted, along with a whole bunch of other player stats. It'll be a bit outdated, but I'll see if I can dig it up.

EDIT: I found it right here . You'll have to scroll down a little bit. It's about 2 years old though.

I know it's not particularly helpful if you're trying to see state via state, or even country to country, but at least it gives you a rough idea continent to continent. It also has lots of other fun stats you can enjoy. :) If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are now.
