My suggestion would be to get out now, and head via bus or taxi, if you don't drive. See if Uber or Lyft is available in your area.

Just be safe. Do your best to stay dry. :c

Being safe is always priority. Anything can be rebuilt. I hope Irma will weaken and curve off the coast.

I hope it misses your place m8! I heard some people saying put stuff in the dishwasher because its waterproof just a thought. Can you take some before and after pictures of the area your in? Would be interesting to see the damage
