I am recently returned from longest break I ever took to play FE3H, and I got recomped in a day, and I did the acheivement for "crack a 4 pack" so I am not asking a completely dumb question. I do kinda understand the effigy incubator, but... I feel like I BARELY understand whatever it is I am supposed to do for the "following in the footsteps" acheivement we have to do for trim maintenance with grace til september 2021, and odds seem most likely that I have already done the thing I was supposed to do...

so just go down and ask him 'how is your research' and spacebar through his growing responses? thats it?

the wiki page seriously confused me talking about 'use a monthly reset to catch up' and idk when the thing came out, so I did it twice, and his answers were the same... I think.

if jagex feels like tweaking that could whatever it is we're supposed to be doing there have a journal book and percent complete like its a book "homeboys effify research" and we're adding a page in it til we have 12 pages?

any/all answers welcome. even my usual snipers who wanna be like "oh its so easy and youre being a dumbass again kerr." go ahead. whatever. I wanna know the right answer more than I want to look cool.

am I doing it?
I have quit rsof because moderator found comments about darklight bonus damage on demons "off topic" for wildy flash mobs full of demons

You have to talk to him about the research once a month for twelve months to complete the achievement.

I'm assuming that the token part refers to the fact that you can't use them to halve the time taken (making it six months rather than the twelve). However, if you happen to miss a month for whatever reason, you can use the token to learn that month's research... but it'll still take twelve months to complete. That's how I read it at least.

I do agree that some form of book or dropdown menu would be a nice addition.

yeah I think what I did was assume it was older, so I wasted a month token on it. y'all probably knew it wasnt out >30 days yet so didnt. thanks for replies.
