I have started combat again via slayer assignments. (Completed what I wanted to do with all other skills and received master and max guild capes, which is enough for me.) I have a nice set of armour for each style of combat and would like to place some very nice perks on them.

I do understand only augmented items can be perked and I do understand only the body/legs of each set of armour can be perked. I am also thinking "ancient" gizmos with perks would be better than regular gizmos. The last month or so I've been talking with my friends as to what perks they like best and why; and I've spent hours on wiki reading what the different perks do.

I have made some "ancient" weapon and "ancient" armour gizmos to place perks into. I have become somewhat bewildered by the perks; thus am needing a bit of help in clarifying what might be better for me. This is why I'm posting here. (I am not what one would consider "rich"; yet am not "poor" either; so need some perks that are good without spending a lot of coins on god armours for disassembling.)

The 3 types of armour I have are Torva (with annihilation), Pernix (with decimation) and virtus (with obliteration). The URL I've found most helpful in understanding perks is https://runescape.wiki/w/Category :P erks

Not sure if this information is needed by anyone willing to help me; but will give it anyway. My abilities bars are all set up for 2H; and a couple of the bars have lots of multi-target hits on them which I have really found helpful doing slayer tasks...as long as I understand the target and am dressed for such combat. So I'm thinking the selection of perks might need to be such that "compliments" these bars without "competing" with them....if that makes any sense.

With my confusion about this I'm leaning toward relentless5 & crackling4; believing these can be placed on either weapons or armours. Suggestions for other perks??? (Feel free to contact me in game.) Any BOSSES I fight will be low lvl ones.

Heya,

When Archaeology came out, someone made a really helpful spreadsheet (linked below) which shows you the types of perks to be aiming for, and what components are needed to make it (saves you going to wiki pages). As for the prices it shows, I'm not sure if those have been updated ever, so they might be showing the prices when Archaeology was released.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TPHXKJrT9_U7FIYMO-3NlZFJb73gya_eHj8RaEdNTio/edit#gid=732584938

This spreadsheet shows perks for best in slot gear, of course, you can put the perks on lower gear, and then upgrade later. You will not need to get new perks if you get your current gear beyond level 15, and then use an Equipment separator.

Thank you Loki. I did go over and looked at that spreadsheet; and there is a great deal of information on it. It is going to take me awhile to understand it. (I'm finding this true with all the information I'm getting on perks, i.e. I get lost in the explanations....)
