Well, I switched worlds right after the Spring Event ended, and when I logged back in - all spring tokens vanished from my Currency Pouch.

I know, I know, you warned us they would be going away.

"usually", ok, now sometimes, you (Jagex) give us 24 hours to use the tokens. Anyone doing the event right up to the very end, and then hopping worlds - also got to lose out on redeeming them.

Something seems a bit odd, in the timing.

Odds are, even if they'd given you an extra 24 hours after the event ended, you still would have missed it. That's what happens when you leave it until the very last possible moment. Just redeem the damn things early enough and it won't matter.

Also he's got a point actually. Usually they give you some time after it ends to redeem what you have left. This isn't a strange or foreign precedent, although it may be a discontinued one now as I recall reading about this also happening for the 2020 Halloween event tokens.

I mean, these events are predatory anyway, best to not involve yourself with them if you want to avoid disappointment. @Chee__RS

Did I state something that wasn't true for most players? It's frustration more than anything else. We get this every time any event ends. There's always someone whining that they didn't get to spend their tokens or whatever because time ran out and there wasn't a dozen more warnings they could have ignored.

And yes, I will concede that sometimes they do give you extra time but it's really uncalled for since there are all sorts of warnings surrounding an event as to its ending time. That some choose to constantly ignore that deadline is beyond me.

It could just be that Jagex had a hell of a lot of things on their plate at that moment and figured, well, if they cba to do it in time, they'll just miss out on it because we've still got players who can't log in and content that's been waiting in the wings for far too long and this just isn't a priority since players really ought to know better by now.

Yeah, foolish idea I know but what can you do. Do I seem overly hostile? Maybe that's why.
