my own personal response to this new art modesty is indeed hot, but not for lusty reasons. I fenced competitive sabre in college (which scores points with point and edge), so male fencers that compete tend to let out a shrill yell to rattle opponents while chopping wildly (instead of stabbing delicately). it doesnt work on me. I learned from the french womens olympic team who steady kicked my ass for a week to relax... and win.

repeat: I lost swordfights to women who werent wearing armour. not fantasy. not edgelord. thats memory. Im veteran.

I have ZERO patience for spreadsheet warriors, jingos, and the like imagining what armour might do that want to try telling me nonsense about why boob shaped chest pieces are bad.

nope. roman legion officers sculpted nipples into their chestplates. they sure did a lot of winning.

archangels depicted as being kinda male in stained glass windows or in movies like... wim wenders wings of desire get to wear male nipple plate.

women... by policy or decree are largely unseen in those spaces. maybe a face peeking out of a habit, a burqha, or whatever handmaids tale symbolism that... well...

no ad hominems intended... but I am always didactic and rich with hyperbole because I dont actually want to be understood by everyone. nonetheless I have cause to believe a CM or such would parse me pretty well if I had more than 80 characters to reply with. no I am not spending more time to edit, revise, check the feedback either, because... because Desmond Morris did NOT get everything right, and he annoyed several feminists with his work, but... this is where it enters our conversation that the outward symbolism of breasts is or is not meant to be sexual stimulus to human society, and I think there is more undesireable objectification that occurs from the bondage of chastity belts and flat chestplates than from comingling different gender iconography.

yeah at root... I want the game SOLD to new prospective players and we know what sells. this change seems to cause controversy for reasons more likely to forfeit the interest of those not playing yet than to capture it.

same argument shoulda removed horned helmets from rs since they never really existed. it was just bad artists who couldnt draw feathered helmets. thing is... we dont care. we came for the symbolism.
