Bug with reaper title for comp

I'm not a PVM'r by no means but i used a deathtouch dart on an elite dungeon boss (Sanctum Guardian [inb4 flame]] and i killed him in story mode and it still says i haven't killed him. Is this a glitch or am i doing something wrong?

EDIT: i used the deathtouch dart in normal mode and i killed him regularly in story mode. NEither of the kills counted

If you can't get through ed1/ed2 you got a lot bigger problems than that.

To answer your question, dtd kills don't count and there's a 15 minute cooldown after using a dtd before the next boss kill will count toward your record.
