I'd be fine with it being limited to untradable items that can be equipped. It should also require a decent Construction level, let's say 90. It still needs to have a limit, though, maybe 100 slots? One item per slot as well (which shouldn't really change anything, since most of this stuff doesn't stack). There are 100k (ish) players with 90 Con. With a limit of 1 per slot, we don't need to track quantity. Item IDs should be no larger than 4 bytes. That would mean 400 bytes max (plenty of people wouldn't fill it entirely) multiplied by the 100k people that would have access (again, not all of them would even be playing) and we get 40MB.
Since AWS is a big storage company they show you their pricing up front. I can't tell you for certain what Jagex pays with their host, but we'll use these numbers for reference: roughly $0.02 per GB per month or about a quarter (USD) per year. But we're talking about 40MB, not 1GB after you adjust: this storage space would cost Jagex $0.01 per year. Yes, 1 American penny per year.
So...I'll be optimistic and start the pricing estimation at 3 bonds per user?
