This virus just shows how unprepared we are for a major crisis. The world wasn't ready for COVID-19 and it shows. I do hope we learn something from this, but I don't think we will. Once this blows over, and it will eventually, we will slowly go back to our old ways until the new major crisis comes.
I can feel a sore throat coming myself. Starting to cough frequently which only happens when there's a cold/flu coming. I hope it's just the typical common cold, or a false alarm (sometimes this happens and then I'm fine the next day). If it is COVID-19, then I suppose I hope my immune system can beat it.
Even if it isn't COVID-19, I will probably get it eventually anyway because the UK government are not really doing all that much to stop the virus from spreading around. If they keep up with what they're doing, the majority of the UK will probably get infected.
I've not bought any toilet rolls as I had a 24-pack I bought a while. It is running low, so I will need to buy some soon. I can find toilet rolls in my local shop, so it's not a big deal if I run out (unless a lockdown occurs, which I doubt). It's hand sanitisers that are very hard to find. Sold out pretty much everywhere, even in the local shops.
