there have been scandals that halved many elite clans over last couple years, and so I worry the metrics of higher requirements won't do what you hope they're going to do.
I have been in a few clans, and I left each of them for the same reason. I have to admit that I would never want to vet each of the members, so I can't fairly expect that anyone in a clan do the same thing, and they don't, so I kept finding myself associated with players doing somewhat dubious things that we can all hope clan leaders would moderate... and they never will. its not what clans do.
I'm not sure how polarizing it is, but D&D x has a friend chat, and there are ranks within it. Thats not quite a clan, and at same time... its better. I don't know any of the D&Ds with just one fc, either, so I hesitate to use one as example, but I hope you know what I mean.
good luck.
I have quit rsof because moderator found comments about darklight bonus damage on demons "off topic" for wildy flash mobs full of demons
