so my sister tested positive and she is vaccinated, so she is not gonna have to fight anything worse than boredom for 2 weeks at home, and I sent her a black switch lite, the oivo grip, a samsung evo 128 micro sd, and a copy of spiritfarer which was like... 300 bucks of swag being delivered by amazon sometime today and tomorrow.

had this thought afterwards... and it wouldnt have been the right fit for my sister, but lots of scapers might want to give gift packages for rs phone, right?

Im not sure that its set up that way, or that y'all would think to advert it such. Like "give rs phone to your sick friend" packages.

I'm a monster: giant, bald, ogreish, etc; and I forget how optics might matter, so y'all will have to discuss if gift package gonna pass optics testing. It shouldnt look like y'all are cashing in on the plague, right? But still... there is some part of a good idea there.

there is definitely more than 2 weeks of stuff to do with this game. lol.

I can't have nice phones. I slide under cars* and stuff and they break. I am limited to very primitive flip phones, so I'm never going to know how rs phone works, and Im kinda talking outta my ass.

I do play switch too though, and I am gnawing on FE3H like a dog with a bone when I don't play rs. I'm sending my sister Spiritfarer so that when she plays it I won't have to. The trailer for that game so beautiful it reminds me I don't know how to weep. So its in the category of movies like Precious. Looks amazing. I'm never watching it.

* my next row to hoe is lifting intake manifold of the 68 fury's 318, throwing away the cork at back, and using motorcycle goop for better seal, then switching out transmission mount. I have all the parts in hand, but its like 150 degrees out there and I'll lose like 5 lbs sweating to be out there an hour. I'm waiting a month or so to do that. Phones do not survive these kind of chores.

to be fair... if your person is in same shape as my sister, like has both shots, reached immunity, and wont be very sick, but has to stay home nonetheless... a super cool thing about runescape, I think, is that you could meet them (you/us on pc, and them on a phone) at the runespan beginner and middle areas on F2P and maybe kill 10-14 days. like... for free.

but still...

hospitals have gift shops for a reason, and I'll posit that it aint all profit, but that it allows some control of whats going on. like the visitor is more likely gonna come off the elevator at ICU or whatever with a teddy bear, a box of chocolates, a paperback... not a mariachi band, or a durian fruit.
