I'm just trying to come across an existing RP group in OSRS. I really don't want to get back into RS3 with all of the changes they've made to the game - even if it's what other people love. I enjoy the simple nostalgia that is OSRS.

Honestly, I thought this would be a lot bigger considering it's a fantasy game. This is basically D&D for people who don't want to tabletop and want a completed world with lore and npc's ready to go lol.

If anyone has a group that's running or knows of some, please do let me know either on here or in game!

And if anyone is interested in starting one up, I'm down for that as well. I'd love to get some creative juices going with some like-minded gamers.

P.S.

To those looking to start one up - I am not trying to take the lead character for anything, I would rather someone else be the lead in it as I can't guarantee regularity of play time. But I'm more than willing to help come up with story/plot.

I regret to inform you that there isn't really an active OSRS only based role-playing group that I know of. The group I run considers OSRS and RS3 canon, being all a one timeline event, with different story narratives and a bunch of hand waves. (this is what Jagex policy does according to Mod Jack on their discord).

Now, I would offer my group to you and see if you're interested, it is called The Quest Collective. . Maybe you'll enjoy the group, maybe not. But the group follows the RS3 timeline, while OSRS timeline is in the past.

If you're not interested, I could suggest making your own role-play group and be patience, see if any OSRS players gets interested in joining your group. I wish you luck on your search and hope you find what you're looking for.
