Role-playing in old school?

Been wondering about roleplayers in osrs. I'm an oldie. I use to play rs back in 2007 and I've been wondering if there is still any active role playing community base in old school runescspe.

I want to join an order of knights. Jest and make merry in front of nobleman. Take down monsters in the name of a king or princess. Work through political intrigue between thebkingdoms of falador and varrock and ardougne. Conquer the enemies of miscellin (spelling?). There was nothing quite like role playing in runescspe back in 2007.


If there is a role playing community and you are still active, please contact me and let me know! I'm desperate to enjoy runescspe to it's fullest! I look forward to hearing from anyone who reads this and still roleplays.

P.s. I am willing to join any active role-playing clan and start off as a low ranking officer or the court jester! Comment here on message me in game if I'm on.

I wish there were OSRS RP .. at least some that I know of! I've always wanted the community on RS3 to move there considering the less-advanced lore (which is too much in RS3 in my opinion) and the minimalist graphics.

If you're unable to find OSRS RP, feel free to join us here on RS3! While the gameplay outside of RP and the graphics might not be anywhere similar to OSRS, the RP is certainly enjoyable. But again .. if there's an OSRS group then I'd also be more than happy to join that as well.

Agreed. RS3 has too much lore currently binding a lot of the roleplayi possibilities. I preferred the graphics of rs2 and the role-playing was unique and unlike most other games. Role- playing rs3 does not give me the same satisfaction. Hopefully I can find an osrs role-playing clan. If not, I'd gladly join your rs3 clan.

Much agreed there. I've never liked how much lore is currently in RS3. It was much better back in 2012 and earlier. If ever you want to come join us on RS3 just apply for Ardougne or Camelot . Those two kingdoms are both a part of our group. We can get you squared away to RP as I'm sure you'll focus your actual gameplay on OSRS, so if you need money or anything we'll help. ^_^

Still though, if you do find an OSRS group do let me know!

In world 41, we take RP back to the 5th age, before the gods came back. We decided to do that cuz of the problems we’re faced with upon the gods return. We don’t have a big of an area to play in, but we make our F2P space work, if you’re interested. : D |

How many people are present on W41 that frequently RP? I might be interested as I've always hated the new lore.

Honestly with you? There are very few of us. We’re in the process of trying to rebuild the server. |

I hate to be a party pooper but I have to say what I always say. If you are able to do so at all, acquire membership and play on W42. You would be absolutely free to make whatever setting you'd want to - such as a carbon copy of what you're doing right now, but with the added benefit of many more people around who could potentially join. Save yourself.
