Port Phasmatys and the Coastline
The cries of the dead haunt the ghost port of Phasmatys. As Morytania’s only port, it is the dark land’s only link to the outside world, aside from crossing the blessed river. With a citizenry of ghosts, Phasmatys is an odd link between mortal decedancy, and spiritual residualness. Unfortunately, Phasmatys faces trouble in the form of a nearby den of Araxxite Spiders, which provide ample threat to Morytania’s only source of trade. Famously owned by the Foryx coven, it has since been transferred to new hands.
Burgh de Rot
As Morytania’s only human settlement, Burgh de Rot is a frequent picking for tithes by the vampyric aristocracy. The overdrawing of blood from the citizenry has led to suffering on a terrible scale. Thankfully, things have gotten better in recent times - though only marginally.
Mort’ton
Abandoned long ago due to a mysterious green fog emanating from Castle Drakan, the streets of this previous human settlement has been since filled with the infected and diseased. The presence of the Afflicted, as they are called, have angered the souls of those dead buried beneath the village. Now, in combination with the Afflicted, undead shades lurk the streets, eager to satiate their fury by tearing apart any who dare to come too close.
Canifis
The trading outpost of Canifis is home to the werewolves from which it gets its name. It is a relatively rustic place with the famed Hair of the Dog inn as well as a frequent history of destruction and abuse at the hands of its Vampyric overlords. Following the turmoil stemming from a failed invasion of Misthalin, Canifis has since gained its independence.
