The further they traveled the more dense the human settlements became. Not wanting any conflict or unwanted attention from curious seers or zealous druids the Adwyn clan stayed near the borders of man. Keeping their camps shrouded and traveling no mans land by night the elves were quite successful in remaining unnoticed. The elves eventually found caves and tunnels very suiting for their need to remain secluded. They began spending more and more time underground eventually meeting a band of chaos dwarfs. They slew the dwarfs and took their homes. With each passing generation their lifespans grew shorter, their skin darker and their hair lighter. The old ways of life were forgotten as they adapted to what they thought was necessary for survival. They eventually found themselves able to sing to the gemstones from the ground however the tools and weapons formed from this way were crude and twisted but it allowed them to burrow deeper. The god wars passed overhead without them even noticing.
