Another one of these threads, I know.

But I think it warrants a point, about the growing interest within those people that are left on 42 with what Old School has to offer.

I've been spending the past few weeks leveling an account and finding a certain enjoyment in Old School that seems to be lacking with RS3. I've spoken to a few other Rpers that are still in and about, a few of them have said a journey into Old School could be a welcomed change to the static nature of RS3 42.

Granted the lore is different, the Gods haven't returned, I think there is potential for some good RP, with Zeah and so forth. There's solid outfit options, and the ability to not be tied down by a decade worth of 42 history. (The same rules would apply naturally)

It would be a chance for us all to have a burst of life, a fresh start, in our interest in roleplaying, I can only speak for myself, but after years of being on 42, I've lost a lot of that drive that I first had. Surrounded by the same large families and feeling unable to find any creative spark to do something.

Though now I have it for Old School and what it has to offer.

What interest is there to see roleplay on Old School, using W342 for it? I understand leveling a whole other account towers over it all, but I know for sure a lot of us have moved to other games and are in the process of doing the same there.

Leave your thoughts below. If there's some serious interest, I would like to see where it could take us.

Welcome to the seventh thread that makes the same point, the third that has the same name and the second that has one post behind it.

Caring or not caring?

You'll find most are already in the latter section, just to let you know in case you actually came here to socialize.

If support is shown by amount of threads made by different people with different ideas about the same basic thing, congratulations... You've got support.

You may find a fresh start on 342, but you will not find happiness there. Creativity is a flame within us all. If it has gone out in you, find the matches before you replace the candle. It’s less costly to do so. All that for a pile of bricks.

Farewell Runescape Reagan. Parting is such sweet sorrow.
