The Hall of Wizards, is a lounge and meeting ground for well-accomplished Magi, as decided by the council.
Members are sworn to secrecy, and go through a special initiation rite, before being entered.
Once within, Hall Members are encouraged to share research and notes with one another, to further the study of knowledge.
The Hall is, at it's core, an elite social club for experienced Magi, It is not a school, and not taking Apprentices into its halls. Simply put, if you aren't qualified and respected for magic in your field, you have no place within the halls.
The Hall is led by a council, who speaks through Faaiza Abdul'Qadir, a master of combative magic and spiritual arts. The Council is comprised entirely of powerful, Master Magi. It should be without question that the Hall's leadership is of the elite.
That said, a bunch of chatty Wizards surely have some ideas, and as the Hall is free of government control, many speak their mind. They are a scholarly, research focused group who would like to preserve the freedom of magic, for to face the darkest of dark arts requires basic knowledge of them.
How could a powerful, Crumble Undead spell ever be made, without summoned undead to test it on?
This is the Hall's goal. To provide a safe environment for magical practice, free from scrutiny of those who would cast judgement.

As the hall is located within a pocket dimension, the only way in is with specially made rings. These Silver and Dragonstone rings are specially enchanted for this purpose.
If you are deemed fit to enter the hall, following your application, you will be interviewed by an existing member of it, before your entry is accepted or denied.
Following this is an initiation ceremony to test loyalty and determination.

1 - Do not speak of Hall matters to outsiders. This is for the protection of the Hall.
2 - Do not attack a fellow Hall member. We are allies of knowledge in these troubled times.
3 - Do maintain proper etiquette befitting the Elite class. We are not peasants, nor are we phillistines. We have a reputation to uphold.

The Hall is a secular, Magic-focused institution with an emphasis on learning, enlightening, and overall progressing magical knowledge. To do this, a few things are nessacery.
1 - Freedom of Magic.
The Hall may believe thenselves to be Elite Magi, but are heavily against the licensing of magic. They believe Magic is for all to cast, and some even believe the existing magical laws are too strict.
2 - Freedom of Knowledge
Knowledge should be free, and readily accessible to all. Censorship slows down progression, and only leads to stagnation for those in power to stay powerful. Allowing knowledge to circulate unhindered is a key principle of the Hall.
3 - Dark is not Evil, Light is not Good
Sometimes we must use magic labelled as "Dark" or "Evil" to best learn to defeat it in the hands of truly corrupt Magi. The Hall takes a special stance against Corrupt Magi, but the magic they use is tolerated, due to freedom of magic, knowledge, and the simple acceptance that this knowledge may help people later.
Needless to say, the first two ideas are told to applicants, while the Third is reserved exclusively to Initiated members.

The Lodge is located icly at: A Pocket Dimension home.
The Manor of the Lodge is, while dreary, loaded to the brim with books and research facilities.
It is accessed through specially made silver and dragonstone rings, bearing the signet stamp of the lodge, a caligraphic W.
The first floor of the lodge has a full kitchen, dining room, and lounge area.
The second floor contains quarters to house Magi who live at the Lodge, all rooms properly enchanted to be sound-proof, for matters of secrecy, study, and privacy in personal business.
The Third floor is used by Storm Magi for atmospheric gauging and calibration.
The basement level contains a special initiation hall, which when not in use for such doubles for summoning and faith-oriented magic. The other side of the basement contains cells, locked with a Lesser Demon and a few Skeletons for research purposes.
Architecturally, the manor is made of fine wood and stone, in a style reminicent of the real world Victorian Gothic style of house.

This Saturday, 2/11, at 3pm EST will be the first Hall meeting. Magi who are members of the hall will bear witness to this meeting, preceding the Mage's Conclave hosted by Magus Concendo.
The following Saturday is DXP Weekend, so a weekly meeting won't be happening. We'll do smaller RPs around then.
The Saturday after, 2/25, will be the Mage's conclave! The Hall will be attending in full, to ensure their views are represented.
